Soil improvement using waste materials: A review

چکیده

With the industrialization, industrial by-products are produced in large quantities and creates nuisance to natural habitats. The disposal of these wastes like fly ash, marble powder, construction demolition (C&D) waste, brick agricultural etc. has become potential threat ecosystem need some real solutions. direct such into open land or water bodies causes circumambient pollution. One solutions is utilize industry on scale as subgrade rehab additive cement based materials. In present study, compaction strength characteristics stabilized soil was studied by using various waste materials i.e. lime, cement, plastic fibre, mushroom wet olive pomace reviewed. addition additives improved engineering properties significantly.
